How we survived

Design of a podcast cover art for Суспільне мовлення. Podcast on the history of Soviet mass deportations from Western Ukraine in 1944-1953 to Siberia, the Far East and Central Asia is created by After silence NGO.

The cover is based on fragments of photos from the private archives of people who survived the deportation. Each image corresponds to the theme of the episode and illustrates a relevant aspect of the daily lives of deportees. An element from the certificate of release from the special settlement (seal from the commandant's office) was also used.
